Silk United Expands into Mauritania to Boost Saudi Exports
Under the supervision of the Saudi Export Development Authority and in the presence of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Silk United Company has officially inaugurated its Mauritania office to strengthen export growth and open new trade channels.
In the presence of His Excellency Mr. Mokhtar Ould Dahi, Mauritania’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and His Excellency Mr. Khaled Al-Mousa, representing the Saudi Export Development Authority. Silk United signed a commercial representation agreement with the Saudi Mauritanian Import and Export Company. The agreement paves the way for the establishment of an official office in Mauritania, dedicated to marketing and promoting high-quality Saudi products in the local market.
This strategic step aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to boost non-oil exports, expand economic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Mauritania, and unlock new opportunities for Saudi products within African markets.
Ambassador Mokhtar Ould Dahi expressed his satisfaction with this milestone, describing it as a qualitative development in trade relations between the two countries. He emphasized that the initiative reflects a shared commitment to enhancing economic cooperation, exchanging expertise, and serving common interests while strengthening the presence of Saudi products in Mauritania.
