Silk United and Vanguard Collaborate to Power Saudi Arabia’s Logistics Ambitions under Vision 2030
As part of Silk United’s efforts to expand its services and strengthen its role in supporting national exports—and under the umbrella of the Saudi Export Development Authority—a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Vanguard Logistics Global.
This agreement aims to launch a strategic collaboration that contributes to the development of Less-than-Container Load (LCL) services, expand global routing capabilities, and provide integrated logistics solutions from origin to destination. This partnership marks a significant step toward increasing the volume of Saudi exports by facilitating the efficient access of national products to international markets, leveraging Vanguard’s global network and Silk United’s local expertise within the Kingdom.
The partnership reflects both parties’ commitment to supporting foreign trade, enhancing operational efficiency, and expanding global reach in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to grow non-oil exports and achieve logistics leadership.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Vanguard by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Christopher Smith, and on behalf of Silk United by its Chairman of the Board, His Excellency Mr. Abdulraouf bin Saad Al-Qahtani. Both parties expressed their aspiration to build a long-term strategic partnership that contributes to the development of the logistics ecosystem, improves supply chain efficiency, supports Vision 2030 objectives, and facilitates the global access of Saudi non-oil exports.
